Today, I once again have the pleasure of capturing a wedding at Orangerie Elswout in Overveen — truly one of the most stunning venues in the country. Although I might be a little biased… I got married there myself over ten years ago, haha!
After getting ready at Frank and Amber’s home, Amber has saved putting on her dress for the Orangerie. Once she’s all set, Frank is running a little late — the vintage car he was supposed to arrive in has broken down and now needs to be pushed to get there!
Despite the delay, Frank makes a grand entrance, and the wedding ceremony can begin in the garden in front of the Orangerie.
With a passionate kiss and the exchange of rings, it’s official, and the couple is toasted with cheers and champagne. Shortly after, we take a walk through the breathtaking Elswout estate to capture their wedding portraits, and we return just in time for a speech and dinner. During dinner, there are more heartfelt speeches, and I take Frank and Amber out briefly to take some golden hour photos near the Orangerie.
Frank and Amber open the party with an incredible first dance, and after photographing the festivities for about an hour and a half, I leave them to enjoy the rest of their evening.
It was once again a true pleasure to capture a wedding in this beautiful location. Thank you, Frank and Amber, for letting me document your special day!
